These terms cover booking and buying with Dragonfly Studios LA (“we”, “the studio”) through our website, the Members app and the studio’s screens. By making an account or booking you agree to them, and to the studio waiver you sign before you train.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself and your details current. You’re responsible for bookings made from your account, including for the children you add. One person per account; families link their accounts.
The waiver
Everyone who trains or attends signs the studio’s waiver and release (a parent or guardian signs for children). Some events also ask you to sign the event producer’s own waiver. The waiver you sign is part of these terms and governs your participation and the risks involved.
Booking, waitlists and cancelling
Classes and events have limited spots. When a class is full you can join its waitlist; if you’re offered a spot we hold it for you as shown when you join. Cancel through the Members app before the cutoff shown when you book; late cancellations and no-shows may use a class credit or forfeit the booking, as the booking shows. If we cancel a class or event, you get your credit or money back.
Memberships and payments
Prices are shown before you pay. Memberships renew automatically each period on the card on file until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal. Class packs and drop-ins are used as shown when you buy them and may expire. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are given as described for each purchase, or as the law requires; a refunded purchase ends what it bought.
Events and rentals
Tickets for events are for the event and date shown. When an event is run by an outside producer, the producer’s own terms may also apply, and your guest-list information is handled as described in our privacy policy. Studio rentals are booked through a producer’s link with the rental agreement, insurance certificate and other paperwork shown there; that paperwork is part of the rental.
At the studio
Follow coaches’ and staff instructions and the studio rules. We may refuse or end a booking for unsafe or disrespectful behaviour. Children stay in the care of their parent or guardian outside their class, and are released only to the people listed for pick-up.
Photos, video and courses
The media release in the waiver covers photos and video taken at the studio. Photos you add to an event album may be seen by the event’s guests. Online courses and videos you buy are for your own use and may not be shared or copied.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for anything arising from the website, the apps or bookings is limited to what you paid for the booking or purchase concerned. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law. The waiver governs injury and participation risks.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. They’re governed by the laws of California, and disputes go to the courts of Los Angeles County.
