We draw from: o. Capoeira for low sweeps, inverted transitions, and flowing spins like macaco, au, and meia lua de compasso o. Tae Kwon Do for high-flying kicks like 540s, hook kicks, cheat kicks, and jump roundhouses o. Modern tricking for aerial movements like butterfly kicks, raiz, touchdown raiz, and kick chains No-handed movements like the side aerial and butterfly, unlock airborne transitions that add both power and grace without relying on arm contact with the ground, especially useful for weapons-based stunt choreo & prop-based flow arts—like sword, staff, or fans—enhancing visual storytelling with aerial transitions and sweeping kicks that extend body lines and directional force. You’ll learn to: o. Develop explosive strength, balance, and coordination o. Safely train tricks and flips step-by-step, even if you don’t have a gymnastics background o. Link tricks into fluid movement sequences that complement dance and floorwork o. Integrate bursts of dynamic motion into a broader acrobatic flow or stage performance Apply these movements to prop-based flow arts—like sword, staff, or fans—enhancing visual storytelling with aerial transitions and sweeping kicks that extend body lines and directional force Whether you’re a dancer looking to add flash to your choreography, a stunt performer in training, or a flow artist ready to evolve your physical vocabulary, this class gives you the tools to move with intention, amplitude, and cinematic impact.
